PDF-5+/Web provides portability of the PDF-5+ database via the Internet. It enables access to the entire suite of programs and data files, so that it is equivalent to PDF-5+. PDF-5+/Web is delivered as a USB compatible dongle, which supplies an access key to PDF-5+. There is no need to work with a CD or DVD. The dongle is programmable, so that installation and renewals are handled via the Internet.

PDF-5+/Web requires that you have access to a high speed Internet line and that your organization/site permits Internet communication. Currently, PDF-5+/Web is compatible with some, but not all, OEM and vendor software packages. You will need to check with your software vendor if you want to use their software to interface to PDF-5+/Web. PDF-5+ is a large database with complex calculations and displays. Capability and speed can be severely compromised if you are not accessing via a high speed Internet line.

PDF-5+/Web is priced and licensed identically to PDF-5+. PDF-5+/Web can be used with site licenses or multiyear licenses in lieu of a PDF-5+. Users can also convert their PDF-2 license to PDF-5+/Web using our conversion pricing.
